Australia Dairy Company: Scrambled Eggs Toast and Steamed Milk Pudding 澳洲牛奶公司：炒蛋多士和蛋白燉鮮奶

There’s a reason why Australia Dairy Company, as rude as their service may be, always has a queue. When it comes to plain scrambled eggs (with toast) 炒蛋多士, no city does it as good as Hong Kong and no shop does it as good as Australia Dairy Company. The soft, fluffy and wet consistency served on top of toast is unmatched in all of Hong Kong. But there’s also their steamed milk pudding 蛋白燉鮮奶, which comes hot or cold, both being excellent options, so I let the weather do the picking. This time I got cold since it’s hot out. I also highly recommend the steamed egg pudding, also available hot or cold.
The menus are all in Chinese, and they are all under the glass table-top so if you end up sitting with strangers, which is likely, you might not even get to see the menu assuming you can even read Chinese. (Note: You can always ask for an English menu.) The waiters asks you for your order before you can even attempt to read the menu. If it’s your first time and you feel the pressure to order, just get the “toast with scrambled eggs” and “hot/cold steamed milk/egg”.
