Brunch at 15 Romolo

Bacon, Berry Comopte, Bourbon French Toast, Burger and Fries, Biscuits and Gravy, and Waffle Shots

If you ever want to know what food taste like when alcohol is a key ingredient, check out 15 Romolo. Three out of the four things at our table had alcohol in it. They gave us each a complimentary waffle shot – a piece of waffle soaked in a shot of rum. It went down smoothly. The biscuits and gravy was a nice choice since it’s not too common in the city. It had a little bit of kick in it from the beer they added in the gravy. The french toast toast with berries compote and bacon on top was a good choice. At first I thought it would be very sweet with all the syrup and fruits on it, but it was just right. The bourbon must have helped neutralize some of the sweetness. And then there’s the burger. No alcohol, but still good. Everything was decently priced at under $10 a plate.  Not bad! I highly recommend for a different brunch experience.
