February 6th, 2010 by Jonas / Filed under Asian Snacks / Leave A Comment

These Everyburger (aka Every Burger) chocolate-filled cookies made by Bourbon are one of the cutest Asian snacks out there. Just the box alone had me drawn in at first site last year. It’s two soft yet crunchy sesame cookie “buns” covering a smooth, buttery-textured layer of chocolate “patty” with a smidge of white confection “cheese”. [...]

December 19th, 2009 by Jonas / Filed under Asian Snacks / Leave A Comment

The Pucca chocolates by Meiji is a pretzel on the outside with a smooth milk chocolate filling, this one being a banana flavored chocolate, hence its name, “Banana Au Lait”. It’s kind of like banana flavored milk. Banana flavoring tends to taste too artificial, but it’s not so bad in small bites.

Asian Snacks Kabaya Pudding Chocolates

December 4th, 2009 by Jonas / Filed under Asian Snacks / Leave A Comment

These Pudding Chocolates made by Kabaya are so addicting. Outside is a harder white chocolate  shell, topped with milk chocolate, and inside is a softer yet firm creme with a hint of caramel. It reminds me of the egg pudding I sometimes add to my milk tea.

Asian Snacks Glico Tiramisu Dessert Pocky

November 18th, 2009 by Jonas / Filed under Asian Snacks / Leave A Comment

The Glico Dessert Pocky brand is one of my favorite types of Pocky, consisting of flavors that are more extravagant than usual. A simple plain flavor like chocolate won’t do here. Instead, they have flavors like Tiramisu, which does indeed taste like tiramisu. It’s a little on the sweeter side. A box has four packs [...]

Asian Snacks Nestle Green Tea (Matcha) Kit Kat

October 29th, 2009 by Jonas / Filed under Asian Snacks / Leave A Comment

My most favorite Nestle Kit Kat flavor of all time is matcha green tea, made in Japan. It’s a little sweet and a leaves a bit of a bitter aftertaste, just like after drinking matcha. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find any Asian markets here that sells this, otherwise I’d probably buy a box of [...]
