In one of the streets, away from the busy Downtown-ish area, the girls dress in skimpy outfits to please the truckers that usually pass by wanting to buy betel nuts.

Signs say that pedestrians have the right of way, but drivers don’t pay attention to that. They’ll stop when necessary though, i.e., you’re literally in front of them. Anyway, if you want to cross the street, you have to just do it.
