Chili at Zippy’s in Hawaii

Chili and Hot Dog Plate

We went to eat at Zippy’s, a chain restaurant in Hawaii, somewhat popularized by Obama for liking their “zip min”, and but more known for by the locals for their chili. I went for their chili. It was good. It wasn’t something I’d go out of my way for, but it’s worth a try. I’ve had better, but Zippy’s is not bad.

Haha! I was going to ask you if you were going to get the Zippy’s chili.
I’m totally jealous of your Hawaii fooding. You are doing a great job though.

Also, do you know if the acai sorbet in acai bowls contains dairy? I never had an acai bowl before…

No dairy in the acai bowl. It’s like a smoothie topped with granola, bananas, strawberries, and honey. jamba juice has it (or maybe in smoothie form), i think.
