This is my first time back at House of Banquet since they first opened ages ago and it’s improved a lot! I’d say it’s one of the more decent places to get dim sum in San Francisco because considering how many restaurants serve dim sum, a lot of them are not worth it. Lots of food were rolling around, and the one thing they had here that other places don’t is the scallop siu mai. It’s basically a seafood version of siu mai. Their Chinese donut rice roll (油條腸) was really good too – still crispy. I want to go back during the weekdays for lunch – I hear it’s even more packed because they have a $1.95 everything special.
