I wanted Filipino food for dinner because it’s been a while. Karilagan seems to be my default for dine-in Filipino food. I don’t know why dining out for Filipino food can cost so much, especially for a country that’s actually quite poor, but at least at Karilagan, portions are huge. Their pancit is always good, no matter which kind, ribs are tender, sweet, and slightly crisped, and you really just can’t go wrong with lumpia. Not digging their inasal na manok (grilled chicken), though – It always comes out dry.
