This was my first time having savory items at Patisserie Philippe, but I wasn’t surprised at all at how good they were since they know how to do pastries right. I really liked their quiche lorraine (quiche with bacon and onions). It was light and not too salty. Just right. Their other savory pastry that we tried was not bad either. I don’t know what it’s called. It was a puff pastry with sliced tomato and crumbled cheese on top.
Of course, we had to get some macarons. This time we tried their earl gray tea, rose, and pistachio. I’m not sure who’s I like better – Patisserie Philippe’s or Pauline’s, but they’re definitely two of my favorites. We also tried the pot de creme, another good choice.
