I love ice cream and I love that San Francisco is a mecca for all-organic and locally-produced ice cream that are freshly-made, and Smitten Ice Cream is as fresh as it gets. Since new batches are always being made, the flavors are limited – only four. Every flavor is unique, such as their spring herb, which uses thyme. The scent stayed in my system til I went to bed. (Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.) As for their TCHO chocolate ice cream, which uses 60.5% dark chocolate, it also had a taste that lingered. (This was definitely a good thing.) Unfortunately, a small cup cost almost $5. It’s pricy and fun to try, but it’s more of a novelty to me.
