It’s been a while since I’ve really, really enjoyed a nice, deep-fried chicken, soul food style. The fried chicken at Farmerbrown’s Little Skillet has a nice, thin and very crispy batter, and the meat is very juicy. A bit on the expensive side, but definitely on the delicious side. The waffle was also good, though I prefer my waffles crispy and soft rather than soft all-around. Biscuits and sausage gravy – another must eat. Little Skillet reminds me of the food scene in Portland, selling fried foods at a window and people eating on the streets. I need to visit Portland again.
