Sandbox Bakery got me hooked again, this time with their new restaurant, 903. The menu offers Japanese fusion cuisine. This means rice-bun burgers, bento boxes, waffles, and the list goes on. Their fried chicken rice burger is a definite must-eat. I was already a fan of it from Sandbox Bakery when they would prepare a few and lay them out at the counter, waiting to be ordered, but now I can actually order it freshly made. The fried chicken is thick, crispy and juicy, and the rice bun holds well, especially thanks to the nori, which also adds extra flavor.
Their Liege waffles with freshly whipped cream and fruits are also a must. Liege waffles are my favorite kinds of waffles, and though 903′s is on the pricier side, especially for the amount you get, I have to admit that the quality makes up for it. Just about everything is good, straight down to their side of home fries. In fact, those might be the best home fries I’ve ever had. Can you sense my excitement?
