It’s two of my most favorite desserts served as one – pie and ice cream. All the pies at Chile Pies and Ice Cream are good, baked fresh with a crispy and flaky crust, but their signature is their Green Chile Apple Pie. Sounds like a weird combo but it works. It’s sweet with a hint of spicy. They also offer Three Twins Ice Cream, so I went for their honey and milk ice cream. It sounded right with the apple pie, and it made a great combo. I also went for their Mexican Chocolate Pecan, which was great, but a little too sweet for me. I paired it with what I thought would work great with it: coffee and cookie ice cream. That’s like a cold Mexican mocha now, no?
