Honey Chili Prawns at Chef Jia’s Restaurant

Everyone raves about the honey chili chicken at Chef Jia’s Restaurant, but I’m really digging their honey chili prawns. The prawns are huge, battered, fried to a nice crisp, and sauced up in a honey chili sauce, giving a sweet and mildly spicy flavor. I also tried the lemon chicken, which was not bad. The pieces were meaty, the sauce was thick, and the batter was nice and crispy, though I wish they didn’t use so much. I feel like Chef Jia’s Restaurant is the gourmet version of Panda Express, which is not a bad thing because some people really do like that kind of food, including me sometimes. Lunch specials are $5.50 and comes with soup, add $.50 for brown rice.
