Just me and my mom, eating at Mom’s Tofu House in South San Francisco. We shared some dry fried chicken (양념 닭 yangnyeom dak), half being plain and crispy, the other half having their house special sauce, and a bowl of bean paste stew (된장 찌개 doenjang jjigae). Toss in the side dishes (반찬 banchan) that comes free in every Korean restaurant and the pancake (파전 pajeon) and it’s more than enough food.
