While tourists are cable car-ring their way to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf for some fresh seafood, the locals are driving south to the Old Port Lobster Shack in Redwood City. It’s probably the best lobster roll I’ve had in the Bay. The toast is buttered up and lightly toasted, staying a little crispy yet soft, and the rolls are jam-packed and spilling out with lobster so you really get your money’s worth. Their Shack Louie salad is also a must for the more “healthy-conscienced”, packed with tons of lobster, crab, and shrimp. Must go back for more …
