Just wanted to post up the rest of the few pictures I took of my day trip to Monterey Bay with my cousin Anne and brother Jimson. We started out in Downtown Carmel and went straight to lunch at Carmel Belle. We walked through the shops and towards Carmel Beach, then back and straight to dessert – cupcakes at Pastries and Petals.
Then, we drove to the Carmel Mission Basilica. I’ve been there before, but since Anne is from Taiwan, they don’t have missions there, plus I always enjoy visiting different missions.
After that, we walked around the Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey Bay. I always go there for one sole purpose – to sample clam chowder. Every single restaurant gives away samples, enough to fill you up, but my favorite is always the same: Old Fisherman’s Grotto.
That’s it. It was more like a half-day trip, but we got a lot done.
