Finally, shaved snow 雪花冰 in San Francisco that compares to those from Taiwan! I was never a big fan of 37 Degrees, but now that they’re first to serve quality shaved snow, they’ll be sure to see me more often. The ice comes out paper thin, folded and layered into a mountain. The moment it touches your mouth, it melts such that you don’t even feel the crunch from regular shaved ice.
They have a process here at 37 Degrees. First you pick your ice from five flavors: milk, green tea, mango, peanut, and chocolate – and it so happens those those are my favorite flavors! Then, you choose up to three toppings, such as jellies, fruits, cookies, cerials, and boba. Lastly, pick a syrup, such as chocolate, caramel, fruit-flavored, or the classic condensed milk.
