I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: My most favorite lunch spot in all of Carmel is still Carmel Belle. This is a must visit for me whenever I’m in the area, and I always get their slow-cooked Berkshire pork sandwich. This time, however, I tried a couple other sandwiches that also left a lasting impression: the open-face roasted mushroom and truffle oil and cheese sandwich and the open-face avocado with sea salt and McEvoy olive oil sandwich. Next time, I’m going to aim for breakfast.
