March 26, 2015 – I was able to visit a few of my favorites today: 林東方 for beef noodle soup, 阿宗麵線 for miswa, and though I don’t think it’s the best but still requires a visit for a complete trip, 永和豆漿. The weirdest thing I ate this whole trip so far has got to be the ice cream from 雪王冰淇淋. I had their pork floss ice cream, which was completely savory. It wasn’t my favorite but it was definitely interesting and I will go back for more. I also got to visit the Taipei branch of La Mere Poulard, a French restaurant specializing in giant omelets cooked over an open fire and resembling a souffle.
